The Stitchat consumer App is a platform where you can request alteration, repair, or custom stitching services. You can schedule appointments and get the service at your doorstep.
To create an account:
Download the app from Google Playstore .
Open the app and select "account"
select login to continue
Enter your Mobile number then your name and OTP to continue.
To book an alteration:
Open app and select gender from dashboard for whom you want to do tailoring service .
Choose "Alteration" from the given options.
Choose the type of garment and the service you need (e.g., hem, resize, repair)by clicking add of that type.
Continue checkout and add address and time slot to visit booking summary
Click on proceed to order to place the order.
You can track the progress of your alteration by:
Going to the "Bookings" section in the app.
Selecting the active order you want to check.
The status will be updated with information like "In Progress," "Ready for Pickup," or "Delivered."
The app accepts a variety of payment methods including:
Cash
UPI
To cancel or reschedule:
Go to the "order details" in booking section.
Select the booking you wish to modify.
Tap on the "Cancel" or "Reschedule" button.
For rescheduling, you can select a new time.
For cancellations, you may be subject to a cancellation fee, depending on the tailor’s policy.
If you are unhappy with the outcome:
Go to the "order details" in Booking section and select the relevant alteration.
Click on "Help" to email your query.
Yes! During the booking process, there is an option to request “Stitching”. You can provide specific details about your request, including special instructions, fabric preferences, or any other customization needs.
The time required for alterations depends on the complexity of the work and the tailor’s schedule. Estimated completion times will be provided when you book your alteration. You can track the progress of your alteration in the app.
Yes, depending on your location and tailor, you can choose from:
In-person pickup at the tailor's location.
Delivery to your address (may incur an additional fee). You will be prompted to choose your preference during the booking process.
To update your profile details:
Go to the "Account" section in the app.
Select "edit" to update personal information to change details.
